We recommend that the Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, in consultation with the Department of State’s (Department) Office of Inspector General, Office of Investigations, the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, the Office of the Procurement Executive, and the Under Secretary for Management, designate an office within the Department responsible for establishing and implementing an effective mechanism for employees to report trafficking in persons violations.
