OIG recommends that the Bureau of Administration, Office of Logistics Management, Office of Acquisitions Management, in coordination with the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, ensure that local privacy laws and practical limitations on vetting are considered in Local Guard Program contracts and alternative guard vetting procedures are adopted and incorporated into contracts when necessary.
